Fast and Simple Aperol Spritz recipe to recreate your favorite drink at home.
What is an Aperol Spritz?
An Aperol Spritz is an Italian cocktail that has gained a lot of popularity in the states summer 2022. So much so that it caused and Aperol shortage across the nation in the beginning of July. It is bright orange and perfect for hot summer days, and also easy to make. It consists of Prosecco, Aperol, and soda water, and is typically garnished with am orange slice.
Aperol Spritz Ingredients
1. Aperol
This Italian Apertif is hard to find in stores, but is available Here on Amazon
2. Prosecco
Available here at Target, along with most grocery and liquor stores.
3. Sparkling Water
Any sparkling water works, I typically use the sparkling water from Trader Joe’s
Aperol Spritz Presentation
An Aperol Spritz is typically served in a stemmed glass with a colorful straw and garnished with an orange slice. I love to make them outside, so I use these plastic glasses so they can’t break.
Aperol Spritz Recipe
- 3 Parts Prosecco
- 2 Parts Aperol
- 1 Part Soda Water
Serve over ice and add an orange slice for garnish
