After a few of my videos started to get more views, I was notified that I was eligible to join the program
Over the course of the past year, my highest earning day was $158.90 and my lowest day was $0.03. It varies greatly and all depends on how your videos are performing. Some months passed where my total earnings were only few dollars, and other months it was over $600.
Requirements to join the TikTok Creator Fund
- 18 years or older
- Legal Resident of one of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, or territories & possessions of the United States
- At least 10k authentic followers
- 100k views in the last 30 days
- Post original videos in line with the community guidelines

I am also a part of the TikTok Creator Marketplace, which has a separate set of requirements to join, but gives you access to paid collaborations with brands.
Benefits of Joining TikTok Creator Fund
The Creator Fund is an easy way to make some extra money without much effort. It is nice to be rewarded when a video does well, and can add up to a substantial amount if you are getting a lot of views and engagement.
Risks of Joining TikTok Creator Fund
The amount varies a lot over time, and can be unreliable. If your videos do not perform well, you will not be paid. I have also heard of people wondering if joining the program negatively impacted their overall views. TikTok denies this claim, but I am interested in leaving the program to test it out because I have noticed a dip in views since joining.
Overview
All in all, I am happy with the Creator Fund. It is nice to be compensated for high performing videos, even though it doesn’t add up to much. You can make a lot more money through affiliate marketing and paid collaborations, so if you feel like joining has negatively impacted your account, I would leave to test it out.
