1. Camera Strap

When I ordered the camera online, I was unsure if it came with a strap, so I ordered this one on amazon to be safe. The rope is much more comfortable than the strap it came with, and I like the way it attaches to the camera. I have this same strap on my Canon, and it has held up perfectly over the years.
2. Lens Hood

I was hesitant to purchase this square lens hood at first, since the camera shot such amazing photos without it, but am very happy I did. I got it more for lens protection than lighting, and it makes the camera much sturdier. It adds about an inch to the lens, but the metal provides a perfect barrier to keep the camera lens safer. I bring this camera with me daily, and felt like it needed extra protection after I bumped it into a few doorways etc while it was hanging from my shoulder.
3. Soft Shutter Release

I also didn’t think this was necessary at first, but after shooting for a few days, I wasn’t fond of how small the button was, or that there was a hole that seemed to collect a lot of dust/sand. Adding the shutter release makes it much easier to shoot, was very inexpensive, and protects it from getting jammed with dirt and debris.
+ it looks cool 🙂
4. Spare Battery

Having a spare battery was a game changer on my recent trip. The battery does not last all day, especially if you are using the image acquisition feature, so it was nice to be able to run back and swap out for a fully charged one.
5. Carrying Case

I have a camera backpack for all of my gear, but needed something smaller to take just the camera with me. This one is perfect, it has the right amount of protection without being overly bulky, and is sleek enough to carry day to day in my purse.
After using the camera for over a year, these are the best accessories for x100v that I recommend to all photographers. Check out more on the Fujifilm x100v HERE
